BoostByte is a Windows desktop app built around one idea: keep advanced system optimization in one clean interface. Inside the app you will find AI Optimize, Interactive PC Tweaks, Tuning Lab, Presets, Drivers, Network Lab, PC Monitor, Game Tools, Misc Tools, BoostByte Board, BB Clicker, and account settings.
BoostByte inspects CPU, GPU, RAM, motherboard, operating system, storage, and logical core layout before showing compatible actions in their regular categories.
BoostByte includes preset workflows that group related actions into one guided run.
These packs are designed to help you move faster than hand-selecting every tweak one by one.
BoostByte is designed around reversible change. Many optimization actions store original values before applying, so you can return to a previous state through the app instead of manually retracing edits.
On laptops, performance-focused actions can improve responsiveness while increasing power use and reducing battery life. Apply power changes only when that tradeoff fits how you use the device.
BoostByte uses tiered access. Basic is the starter experience, Plus unlocks PC Monitor, Misc Tools, BoostByte Board, and BB Clicker. Pro inherits Plus and unlocks PC Tweaks, Tuning Lab, AI Optimize, Presets, Drivers, and Network Lab.
If you cancel a paid BoostByte plan, access typically remains active until the current billing period ends. After that, your account returns to the tier that matches your billing state.
The Settings area in BoostByte includes account details, email and password security, billing actions, restore and recovery tools, reviews, Discord linking, and official support handoff.
BoostByte is structured as a module-based desktop app. The current stack includes Overview, PC Tweaks, Tuning Lab, AI Optimize, Presets, Drivers, Network, PC Monitor, Game Tools, Misc Tools, BoostByte Board, BB Clicker, and Settings. Your server-verified plan determines which gated actions are available.
At launch, BoostByte checks the approved release version and executable SHA-256 with the security service. If a newer approved build is required, the app downloads the published executable, verifies it, replaces the old build, and starts the new version.
The Optimizations area groups CPU, GPU, memory, network, storage, power, startup, services, telemetry, responsiveness, and debloat controls. Toggle states are detected when supported so the interface can show whether a setting is already enabled. Pro access is required to open the page and run its actions.
AI Optimize detects supported hardware and current Windows state, presents a small reviewable plan, applies only selected low-risk recommendations, and verifies the result. It can also identify and repair harmful settings left by older BoostByte builds.
Tuning Lab only exposes controls a supported CPU, GPU, memory controller, firmware, or vendor provider reports. Limits are device-specific, and an applied value is not reported as successful until the provider reads it back.
Network Lab shows active Ethernet and Wi-Fi adapters, connection details, supported dual-connection state, latency context, and per-application priority. Priority manages local traffic preference; it cannot create bandwidth or force a remote game server to reduce route distance.
BoostByte Board provides local keyboard sound feedback, while BB Clicker provides local mouse-button sound feedback. Each module has its own enable switch, volume, theme, and preview.
Preset packs use the same catalog as the regular tweak categories. You can review a pack before running it, then follow progress as each supported action is applied, skipped, or reported as failed.
PC Monitor reads available CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, network, motherboard, temperature, and fan information. Plus or Pro access unlocks the interactive monitor and protected maintenance actions.
A missing sensor does not automatically indicate a hardware fault. Windows, WMI, firmware, and device drivers decide which readings are exposed.
The Drivers page inventories signed Plug and Play drivers and can ask Windows Update for newer drivers that Microsoft reports as compatible with the current computer.
Game Tools provides the FPS overlay, ping checks, game focus controls, quick RAM cleanup, light debloat actions, and configurable hotkeys. Game Tools is part of the Basic experience.
Misc Tools groups restore, repair, cleanup, activation-status, and other practical Windows utilities in one Plus-level page. Each tool reports what it can do on the current Windows edition instead of claiming a result that the operating system did not confirm.
If the code expires, use Send Code in the same verification window. Codes are time-limited and repeated requests are rate-limited.
The desktop app sends its normalized device identifier, approved version, and executable hash to the security service before account authorization. Sign-in, device state, app controls, bans, and plan access are checked on the server.
By downloading, accessing, or using BoostByte, you agree to use the software only on systems you own or are authorized to manage. Your use of the service must follow applicable law, platform rules, payment terms, and any account restrictions tied to your subscription or support status.
BoostByte changes Windows settings, registry values, service states, power behavior, and performance-related configuration. Even when changes are intentional and reversible, optimization software can affect system stability, game compatibility, peripheral behavior, boot state, or network behavior on some machines.
You are responsible for reviewing what you apply and deciding whether a change is appropriate for your system. BoostByte is provided as a tuning utility, not as a guarantee of performance, FPS, latency improvement, or software compatibility on every PC configuration.
BoostByte uses account and service data to authenticate users, determine plan access, operate support workflows, and maintain the app experience. We only want to collect data that helps run the service, protect accounts, and process support or billing requests.
BoostByte does not sell account, device, IP, billing, or support data.
BoostByte is intended for legitimate optimization, monitoring, cleanup, and account-managed desktop use. You may not use the service to abuse platform systems, distribute unauthorized copies, share restricted access, or interfere with the app, its infrastructure, or other users.
BoostByte support is handled through the official Discord bot and server. Link Discord in Settings, then use bot DMs/modmail or the server support entry point. Include the relevant account email and attach screenshots when they help explain the issue.
Run BoostByte as Administrator and try again. Some actions target protected registry paths or system settings that standard user mode cannot reach.
Check your current tier. The full catalog and preset packs are tied to higher access levels in the current app design.
Hardware monitoring relies on system queries and provider availability. On some systems, WMI or driver-level telemetry can respond slowly during startup.
